How we got here piece by piece
Where LotusBloom comes from, and the way Grandma taught me to put a puzzle together, which is still how every project gets built.
I’ve always liked puzzles. Since I was little, that’s what my grandma always had us do. We started out small and gradually grew: 100, then 200, 300, 400, 500 pieces.
She taught me the technique of where and how to start putting one together. Set up the box with the picture first. Find the four corner pieces, then all the side pieces. Group the rest by patterns and colors, then gradually put it together, piece by piece.
It took time. It took patience. But it was humbling, and worth the work and the wait. No matter how big or small the puzzle was, we were always able to problem-solve and put it together to reach the goal. And once we did, it was a beautiful masterpiece.
I enjoy putting things together. I enjoy problem solving, finding solutions and helping others. I believe there is always a solution to any situation. No matter how big or small, it can be solved. Maybe not overnight, but gradually, over time, it will be.
It’s all about perspective, and the positive attitude you have will lead you to the positive outcome. What you project is what you receive.
This is the heart of LotusBloom.

Piece by piece, in the work
Every project on this page was built the way Grandma taught me to build a puzzle.
